Wayland Spring Cleanup Days are May 9 and 10

The annual spring clean-up days in Wayland will take place Monday, May 9, and Tuesday, May 10.

Pickup schedule is Monday for homes to the west of Main Street, and Tuesday for the east side. Residents are advised to place waste items at the curb the night before, no later than 7 a.m. on pickup day.

City crews will not pick up broken concrete, iron fence posts, appliances, tires, paint, grass clippings, small items not boxed/bagged appropriately or any items weighing more than 60 pounds. Residents asked not to mix household trash with leaves and brush.

Department of Public Works employees will pick up leaves only until spring cleanup.
