Laurie Zywiczynski, director of community relations for the Wayland Union school district, received the “Partner Award” from the Community Action of Allegan County for the collaborative efforts with Head Start and Early Head Start. Wayland Schools is recognized by the organization for going above and beyond to welcome Community Action of Allegan County staff into the programs and community events held in the local district. The award was presented at the first annual “Hearts & Hands” community action fund-raiser held at the Silo in Allegan April 20.
