‘Simply Celia’s’ succeeds Vibrant Grains downtown eatery

The former Vibrant Grains Restaurant at 142 S. Main St. in downtown Wayland has undergone some changes.

Owner Celia Gleason closed the popular eatery earlier this year, but actually she was just taking a brief sabbatical for plans to rework her business. The restaurant reopened as “Simply Celia’s” in April and had its grand re-opening June 27, featuring a new menu and emphasis, now focusing on pastries, but still offering some customer favorites, such as the buttermilk pancakes, from Vibrant Grains,

Gleason still assures customers that everything is made from scratch and all ingredients are fresh. Besides a variety of pasties, new menu options include flat wraps, baked French toast and baked egg dishes. Vegetarian and gluten-free options also are available.

Simply Celia’s is open Tuesday through Sunday from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. for lunch and breakfast.
