Martin’s Brysan Young (center) set a personal record of 17:55 Tuesday and turned in a ninth place finish at the Southwest Athletic Conference meet in Delton. He was also named “all conference” for the SAC. The Gilmore Car Museum was host for 14 teams and the Clippers, in their first season, took ninth overall. Two other team members set personal records. Amy Harris, a freshman, clocked in at 25:38 and Kyle Visser finished at 21:38. Coach John Visser and his C-C team are looking forward to their next meet this Saturday in Bloomingdale. The Clippers have done very well for a first year team! We as Brysan’s parents couldn’t be more proud of him! Both him and our other son Carsen have done an amazing job this year so far! Their growth this season has been amazing to watch!
