Lady Wildcats posted 30-0 bowling win over Wyoming

Ace cub reporter Marissa Bruinsslot has assured fans and citizens the Wayland girls’ varsity bowling team scored a 30-0 whitewash victory over Wyoming to runs its season dual match record to 3-0.

Details were sketchy, but Jessica Hortman had a high game in the first match with a 188. Sydney Urben struck out in the 10th frame and Bruinsslot rolled five of six frames for strikes.

“We have a busy week ahead of us if the weather cooperates,” said boys’ team coach Sherry Miklusiscak. “We face East Grand Rapids Wednesday at Airport Lanes, then travel to our Portage Northern Tournament at Eastland Bowl in Kalamazoo and then travel Saturday to Westgate for the Cedar Springs Tournament. I believe we brought home second place finishes in both tournaments (last season),”
