Grandchildren and family members of the late Phyllis Stein, co-grand marshal of the 2017 Wayland Christmas parade just a couple of weeks before she died, presented the Phyllis Stein Memorial Fund awards at the Wayland Board of Education meeting Monday night. The late Mrs. Stein, wife of former Mayor Burrell Stein, asked that instead of flowers, memorial donations be made for $1,425 to the Robotics program and $2,400 to the Wayland Education Foundation.
