Viking boys, girls hope to capture league bowling titles

The Hopkins boys’ bowling team has gained sweet revenge in back to back victories over Kelloggsville, the Lady Vikings spot a 14-0-1 dual match record for the season.

The Viking boys, now 13-2 overall, beat Belding 22-8 after losing 20-10 last month in their first encounter. Hopkins lost the first Baker 202-169, but won the second 185-173. High scores were Brenden Gossman 232 and Zach Mohr 223.

Both the boys and Lady Vikings will be out to capture the O-K Silver Conference championship Saturday at Paragon.
