I read in the Wall Street Journal an article, “Hundreds of Companies That Got Stimulus Aid Have Failed” about companies that have filed for bankruptcy when the money ran out. The funds from the Paycheck Protection Program weren’t enough to keep them going. The government awarded $525 billion in PPP loans to 5.2 million companies since April.
One company, Waterford Receptions in Northern Virginia, a popular wedding and events venue operator with two locations in Northern Virginia, was run by Keith Clark for 20 years. He is closing for good, losing his business as well as his house because of the pandemic.
“It hit, we had to shut down, and cash-wise it couldn’t have been worse timing,” Clark said. “Not only could we not keep employing people, we couldn’t pay utilities and it takes a pretty decent amount of money to keep two buildings going.”
Revenue was down 90% from 2019 and it didn’t make sense to file for Chapter 11 bankruptcy because you must have a plan on when you’re going to reopen and start paying creditors.
“We had bookings but no forseeable date where we could get going again,” he said. “It just wasn’t practical.”
Then he uttered this: “We all blame President Trump for his dereliction of duty; we would have been able to stay in business if he had done his job.” What?
Doesn’t he know the virus comes from the Communist Chinese, not from the White House and the reason he was shut down was a state directive, not a national one? If you want to blame anyone, blame your governor, Democrat Ralph (Black Face) Northam. He’s the one who shut you down. President Trump had nothing to do with shutting you down.
No matter how you slice and dice this pandemic, it all boils down to this. We knew nothing about it and were learning on the fly. China held back all the information it had about the virus (which was engineered in the Wuhan biological laboratories) and they lost thousands if not millions of their own people to the pandemic.
Dr. Anthony Fouci and other experts were at a loss on how to combat it; other than to say do not wear masks, it won’t help, only to reverse themselves after weeks to say “yeah, wear a mask, stay 6 feet apart (social distancing). There is no evidence mask wearing is 60-70% effective as we have been told by the media.
Even medical practitioners know to glove up, mask up, shield up, and gown up to do any testing on a possible Covid-19 patient. And even then, the medical field has lost many of their own after contracting the virus. With all the precautions they take, some still get it…. maybe masking and social distancing are placebos on the American psyche. No matter, they see dementia V.P. Joe Biden and Communist Senator Kamala masked up, so it must be a good thing.
President Trump did all that was asked of him – provided medical supplies, built temporary hospital wards (many were never used), moved hospital ships to help, and the governors of California and New York thanked him for the swift and decisive action. He also started “Operation Warp Speed,” a Covid-19 vaccine developed in less than a year, unheard of before now, by the FDA. Of course, the Democrats will take all the credit for the vaccine when it is released to the public, when they had zilch to do with it.
One thing we can all agree on is that the country is more divided than ever… and for good reason. I look at the Democrat party as the purveyors of how to get ahead by doing nothing (example: Bernie Sanders and Joe Biden, never had real jobs in their lives, only government) you’ve been downtrodden all these years because of “the man” putting a boot to your neck, it’s everyone’s fault but your own. You are not responsible for your actions, and everyone is a racist that doesn’t think like you.
This is killing America, slowly but surely.
The days if and when the Democrats take the White House will be dark indeed… dark indeed. Sure is funny many of the disputed ballots have only Biden marked and none of the down the ballot candidates filled in… just say’in!
And the Dominion voting machines (used in Michigan, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Georgia, Arizona, and Nevada) were tried in Texas to get them to buy their machines, but failed two times to show a correct vote in a pilot test. Texas wisely passed on Dominion. They commented the machines and software were junk and couldn’t be trusted.

Is this not a biological weapon unleashed upon the world. Why have not the “super powers ” with all their superb intelligence agencies not sounding a warning. Were they to busy with internal affairs? If the warnings were given why didn’t Russia or the United States act ?
It looks like worrying about North Korea starting a nuclear war is a moot point. China has proven that unleashing a biological weapon not only kills people, but it quickly kills a countries economy.
The United States has been slowly killing itself with all the ridiculous infighting, we have failed to see that a virus named Covid-19 may be the final nail driven into our coffin.
Does it really matter who we blame? We failed to be vigilant….hopefully we can have enough people survive to never let this happen again.

If you truly believe President Trump made the virus. How did he get it into China to kill the Chinese . Yes many ethnic groups are more prone to die from this virus. If you do a bit of research you may find the Native Americans die at a faster rate.
I’m surprised you “played ” the race card, when it’s very hard to have a virus that kills only certain ethnic groups . This virus attacks and kills many different ethnic peoples .
You may not like Ranger Rick’s articles. But at least try to make some sort of intelligent points. Claiming an American Pesident wanted a virus to kill a specific group of people in his Country does nothing for creditably of your response.

One has to understand many people really do not know what makes a ballot countable. As far as I know ( and I many times do not vote for everyone on the ballot) there is no rule that one has to vote for every candidate or issue. Their vote would still be counted.
With research onto all allegations of voter fraud…..the amount of fraudulent votes minimal…..fraudulent votes are discovered and not counted.
If people really want to see voter fraud….let us change to a Socialist country….than you will see real voting fraud at its best

Keith Clark blaming Trump for closing down is understandable as he was an Obama supporter and democrat before Trump showed up. I’ve known Clark since 2005 when I became one of his investors in Waterford. I lost over 100K in his business. You’re right about China and the VA governor closing him down. But in addition to event facilities getting wiped out by the pandemic he was over-leveraged by having to borrow too money over the years. Otherwise, a really great guy personality-wise and business man in general, but he just couldn’t make Waterford work.
