The Main Street summer festival was resurrected Saturday in downtown Wayland after suffered two disasters in a row in 2019 and 2020. Main Street was the victim of an unusually fierce summer storm two years ago and was severely limited in its scope and activities. Last year’s, just like so many other festivals, had to be cancelled because of the Cornavirus pandemic. But the celebration enjoyed a comeback, with music, food, artists’ booths and even a dunk tank. Shown at left is the 4-1-2 Distillery, which reported a brisk business at the dinner hour.
