Officials with Dick’s Market, which is closing next month after 66 years in business locally, have announced that Leppinks, the new owners, will open its doors for the first time on Monday, Sept. 13. The Facebook post said, “As Dick’s Market ‘turns the page’… (owner) Steve Dutkiewicz is forever grateful to Dorr and he knows the community is in excellent hands with Leppinks Food Centers. So sad the way this deal happened. Dick would have been very upset that his son had total disregard for the family. Additionally, blessed Dorr will still have a grocery store. We wish Leppinks much success.
