A sign of things to come? Time will tell. Leppinks, new owners of the old Dick’s Market on 142nd Avenue, Dorr, has installed these shopping cart corrals that are much more familiar in big city grocery chains such as Meijer and Family Fare. When asked about it, an employee said Leppinks at least for now is keeping the personal carry-out personnel to squire items for customers to their vehicles. Dick’s, which had been in business in Dorr for more than 65 years, handed over the grocery officially on Sept. 13.
