Gary Webb of Hamilton passes Thursday at age 67

Gary T. Webb, age 67, of Hamilton, died Thursday, Nov. 11.

Gary was born May 5, 1954, to Worley and Margaret Webb, who preceded him in death as well as his brother, David Webb.

Gary was an extremely kind man who loved his family and friends very much. Gary drove semi-truck for 45 years. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, bean bags, camping, traveling, coffee with his friends at the 76th Street Truck Stop, hauling his fifth wheel and boat, and talking to anyone.

He is known for his signature style of hats and unique sayings such as “Papa loves you” to his grandchildren. His friends and family will miss all of his many lectures and living in “Gary’s World.

Gary is survived by his wife of 48 years, Beverly Webb; children Margaret Webb (Robert Vander Hoff), Kimberly Henney, Jessica (Jacob) Fifelski, and David Henney; seven grandchildren, Hannah Henney, Connor Henney, Alexis Henney, Gabriella Henney, Olivia Vander Hoff, Eli Fifelski, and Emelia Fifelski. Gary is also survived by his siblings Joanne Krise, Norma Conn, Ronald (Darla) Webb, Debra (Buddy) Smith, Curtis (Rhonda) Webb; siblings-in-law Thomas (Linda) Wierenga, Carol Caldwell (Clarence Kimbler), Loreen Meyer, Victoria (Peter) Fifelski.

Gary’s family is honoring his wishes and will have a private celebration of life at a later date.
