Martha J. (Marty) Marklevitz of Dorr, died Saturday, July 16, in Wyoming, MI.
Marty was born in Little York, Illinois, the daughter of Laura and Andrew Bertelsen.
Marty was an excellent seamstress. She loved looking for and buying antiques, collecting Danish porcelain pieces, and traveling. She was a 50-year member of St. Stanislaus Parish in Hilliards.
Marty is survived by husband Carl of 67 years and children Don (Christine), Jane Brodoski (Jim), Chris (Kathy), Randy (Carleen), and Ken. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
Marty was preceded in death during her life journey by her parents, siblings, and beloved son, Ron.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, July 22, at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, Dorr, followed by internment in the St. Stanislaus Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
