Band Wayland to have concert Jan. 18 at WHS FAC

Nationally known rock band Wayland will perform at the Wayland Union Fine Arts Center at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 18.

All proceeds will be donated to support the Wayland Union High School’s band, choir and orchestra programs.

Wayland High School musicians will be special guest openers for the concert. Tickets will only be sold at the door, general admission the day of the concert starting at 6 p.m. Tickets are $5 for students and $10 for adults, cash or checks accepted.

Wayland is a four-piece rock n’ roll band consisting of Mitch Arnold on vocals, Phillip Vilenski (WUHS grad) on guitar, Dean Pizzazz on bass, and Tyler Coburn on drums.  All four members have deep roots in the Midwest and the band is named after Phil’s hometown of Wayland.
