Public tour of WHS pool planned for March 26

Community members are invited to take a closeup look at the Wayland High School pool and its current condition starting at 9 a.m. Saturday, March 26, commencing at the entrance of the high school.

Similar tours of facilities were held March 14 and 17, but Assistant Supt. for Finances and Operations Patricia Velie said it is important to have as many people as possible who live in the district to get a view up close and person al of the 48-year-old pool.

A new swimming pool is the centerpiece of a 48.5 million bond request in the Aug. 2 primary election.
