Next local Senior Citizens’ meetup will be May 17

The Wayland Community Education Seniors Leisure Life Program will have free pizza lunch and prize bingo event from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May, 17, at the Wayland Area Medical Services Building, 911 S. Main St. in Wayland.

The lunch is for adults 60 and over.The group also will have a Shipshewana Flea Market trip from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 31. Lunch will be at the Essenhaus in Middlebury, Ind. Cost for the lunch buffet is $15, or participants may order off the menu.

Those interested in the trip must RSVP to Penny Salisbury at 269-792-2996 by May 19. The trip is intended for adults ages 55 and older.

Buses will leave at 8:30 a.m. from the Wayland Transportation Building, 851 Wildcat Drive.
