Pearl Harbor Day planned at Wayland Middle School

Wayland Union Middle School will hold its annual Pearl Harbor Day program to honor local veterans at 1 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 7, at the Wayland Union Fine Arts Center, 870 E. Superior St.

The Wayland VFW Post #7581 will name the VFW Teacher of the Year. 

Prior to the ceremony, at 12:30 p.m, Wayland Middle School students will hold a tea for veterans and interview them about their military experiences. This is open to the public and local veterans are encouraged to attend.

The program will include performances from the middle school choir and orchestra.
