Spaghetti dinner to help Swainston family of Hopkins

A benefit spaghetti dinner is planned for 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 12, at the Hopkins High School cafeteria to help the family of Lee and Mary Swainston, longtime school and community activists.

The dinner, at a minimum cost of $7 per person, will include spghetti and sauce, breadsticks, dessert and coffee or juice. Larger donations are encouraged.

The dinner will be held at the same the Hopkins girls’ and boys’ basketball teams will play on their home court, beginning at 6 p.m.

Tickets may be purchaswed in advance at the high school office or at the door.
