The Wayland Union schools’ Summer Funtastic free lunch series will begin at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 14, and runs through Aug. 18, excluding the week of July 3-7.
Children can enjoy several planned activities and all those 18 and under can enjoy a complimentary lunch. Adults are also invited to the table with the option to buy lunch for $3.
Kids can jump on large inflatables at a bounce party from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday at Wayland City Park. There will be a DJ, plus a free ice cream treat. Lunch is at the park from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., with no charge for kids.
Playtime in the park will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 15, at Wayland City Park. A free book will be offered to each family with children up to 5 years old. Older siblings are welcome to join. Free lunch for kids is available afterward 
from noon until 12:30 p.m.
