The Sweet Grass Moon Pow Wow, a celebration of Pottawatomi culture, dance and songs will be held Saturday and Sunday at Jijak Camp.

Activities will take place Saturday, July 13, from 1 to 10 p.m. and Sunday, July 14, from noon to 5:30 p.m.

The venue is a sprawling cultural center at 2044 126th Ave. Hopkins Township that features a pow wow arena, cabins, lakes, a community center and more.  Native American vendors from across the Great Lakes region will offer native foods, arts, and jewelry.

Pictures and video may be taken during the event unless otherwise announced by the emcee.

This is an alcohol- and drug-free event. Security is provided by the Gun Lake Tribe Public Safety Department. No pets allowed, unless a service pet. Parents/adults must accompany children under the age of 12.
