Wayland Main Street’s seventh annual Fall Fun Fest is planned for noon to 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 28 in downtown Wayland.
The celebration will include hayrides, petting zoo, trick-or-treating at local businesses, book sale and more.
Besides passing out candy, local businesses will be hosts for games and competitions. Kids of all ages can wear costumes and interact with animals from the Critter Barn.
Festival-goers may enjoy a chili cook-off at McDuff’s Bar and Grille, 105 E. Superior St. There will be a pumpkin-decorating contest and yard games at the Wayland Hotel and Bar, 104 S. Main St. and an obstacle course at Sensory Systems, 118 W. Maple St.
Open Road Brewery’s tent will transform into party central for kids and parents, and will be host for games, contests, crafts, and more.
The event is free and open to the public. Costumes are not required but are encouraged.
