DESCRIPTION:Planned power outages for parts of Leighton\, Gaines and Caledonia townships  will be overnight starting 11 p.m. Friday\, April 4\, into Saturday morning\, April 4. \nConsumers Energy and ITC officials said the outage will affect Caledonia and Gaines townships\, along with the northeast corner of Leighton township. \nElectrical crews need to cut the power to upgrade substation equipment in Caledonia.  The power companies expect the work to take no more than eight hours to complete\, with power restored shortly thereafter.

DESCRIPTION:Due to the rain-soaked forecast for Saturday\, The Dorr-Burnips Easter Egg Hunt in Salem Township Park has been adjusted to become an EasterFEST drive-through only event\, featuring free candy-filled eggs for the kids and free hamburger sack lunches for the family. Attendees stay dry in their car\, and have the goodies brought to them. The fest will be held fro0m 11 a.m. to noon.
