Funeral for Bob Nakken, 77, will be Monday at Wayland Calvary Church

Robert L. Nakken, agphoto_20151127_WM0054336_0_photo_20151127e 77, of Wayland, died Wednesday, Nov. 25.
Bob retired after 36 years as a tool and die maker from General Motors. He drove school bus for Hopkins Schools for 10 years. For 25 years he was Uncle Bob the Gospel Clown. Evelyn and Bob volunteered with the WYCLIFFE Associates in Florida translating the Bible.
Bob is survived by his wife of 43 years, Evelyn Nakken; his children: Tammy (Scott) Hollon, Tom Nakken, Steve (Stacy) Nakken, Randy (Amy) Nakken and Bryan Nakken; his 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren; his sisters: Jean Sebright, Myrt Miller, and Elaine VanOveren; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by many loved ones.
Friends may visit with Bob’s family from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 29, at the Kubiak-Cook Funeral Services, Wayland, and an hour before the funeral. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 30, at Calvary Church of Wayland. Pastor Mike Hasper and Dr. Paul Kingsbury will officiate. Interment will follow at Elmwood Cemetery.
Donations in memory of Bob may be made to WYCLIFFE Associates or Calvary Church of Wayland.
