The Hopkins girls’ varsity basketball team pulled out a tight 36-34 triumph Tuesday night at Comstock Park to claim its fourth straight win.
The Lady Vikings, in so doing, evened their overall season record at 5-5 and they now are 4-2 in league play.
The Hopkins boys, however, lost an O-K Silver Conference encounter to Comstock Park Tuesday night, 55-52.
The Vikings led 24-19 at the break, but the visiting Panthers were able to overtake them in the latter two quarters.
Both Vikings teams will be at Belding Friday for another O-K Silver matchup.
