Lady Vikings mercy Wyoming Lee 15-0 to go to 10-5

The Hopkins softball team scored a 15-0 victory in four inning over O-K Silver Conference rival Wyoming Lee Monday afternoon to run its overall season record to 10-5.

Hailey Burch pitched all four innings, had four strikeouts, and yielded no walks.

Offensively, Kyra Winchester had a triple with 3 RBIs and scored once. Hannah VanDeRoovart had a triple and a double with an RBI and scored twice.

Jade Burch had two singles Bulich had a triple and two singles, two RBIs and scored twice.

Hopkins scored seven runs in the fourth inning to force the game to be called because of the mercy rule.

The Lady Vikings had split a non-league doubleheader against Belding Friday.
