Pine Street’s 1-mile run observes 25-year tradition

A Pine Street Elementary School tradition of 25 years was continued Friday morning when students participated in the one mile run around the school and nearby sites. The tradition was started by former Pine Street Principal David Britten, himself a running enthusiast who later became superintendent at Wyoming Godfery Lee Schools, but now is retired. Britten did a selfie on Facebook of him wearing a green Wildcat jacket, commemorating the occasion.
