Both the Hopkins girls’ and boys’ bowling teams are off to flying starts this season. They both sport 3-0 dual match records Monday after defeating O-K Silver Conference rival Wyoming Godwin Heights.
The Lady Vikings won 22-8. The girls took all 10 points in the Baker games. Then together they rolled a 758 series, taking every point in the first head to head games.
For the boys, Hopkins took all 10 points in the Baker games en route to a convincing 28-2 triumph. In the first game Mikee Schumacher rolled a 209 to take a point and have the high game of the day.
The Vikings defeated West Catholic in earlier dual encounters this season.
