Wayland wood artist Dave Kerley is among the exhibit entries shown at Flat River Gallery and Framing in Lowell.
The description of the exhibits says, “Dave Kerley uses locally grown woods that are usually obtained from storm or pest damage. He likes to use clear finishes to bring out the wood’s natural beauty, but occasionally will use other finishes and technics to embellish a piece.”
Kerley himself explained, “Sketching is a big part of my process gives me a jumping point for me to explore shapes and techniques. This is a hollow form made of two pieces allowing for unconventional three-hole placement.”
