The Wayland High School equestrian team last weekend finished as Region A Division C Reserve Champions. For the first time since starting the team 15 years ago, the group will be moving on to state for a four-day competition with the best teams from all over Michigan. The state competition will be held Thursday, Oct. 12, to Sunday, Oct. 15, at Midland County fairgrounds.
