Twenty-one Wayland Union High School theater students attended the Michigan Educational Theatre Association festival Friday and Saturday in Lansing. Some of the workshops that were student favorites included: Sword Fighting, Aerial Silks, “Throwing Hands” stage fighting, British Isle Accents, Audition Techniques, Southern Accents, Finding Your Character’s True Voice, Contemporary Jazz Dance, and Breaking into TV and Film.
