Terry Frank, a 1
965 graduate of Wayland High School, has died.
His wife, the former Susie Longstreet, said last December on Facebook, “Terry has pulmonary fibrosis congestive heart failure fluid on his lungs . He just got out of the hospital again. The fibrosis is not treatable. He has been on full oxygen since February. He is pretty much chair bound. It has been very trying for him and the kids, me too just to watch him go down hill and nothing we can do.”
Frank was a star football and basketball player at Wayland, earning all-conference honors in football. He married Susie Longstreet, a 1966 Wayland High School graduate, and they moved afterward to Suches, Ga.
Condolences were being sent on Facebook to Mrs. Frank Wednesday.
There was no information about funeral arrangements available.
