Kaye Arlene (Hall) Jackson, 68, of Plainwell, died Monday, Nov. 20, after a long battle with pancreatic cancer.

Kaye was well known in Wayland, not only as a 1967 graduate of Wayland High School, but also as half of the twin sisters Kaye and Faye Hall.

Born to William and Marjorie Hall, Kaye she was born Jan. 20, 1949. Over the years Kaye held various jobs in medical offices. For about a decade she worked at the Heart Center for Excellence and most recently worked at Kalamazoo Gastroenterology Hepatology. Kaye also worked independently as a certified massage therapist. She enjoyed both of these jobs as long as she could, even after being diagnosed with cancer in 2014.

She was a member of Northbridge Church and an avid baker, fondly remembered for her pumpkin rolls, pies, and cakes.

Kaye was married to Dennis Jackson on Oct. 30, 1970, until 2007. They had three children, Craig, Karen, and Carolyn. Kaye is survived by Dennis, their children, Craig (Wendy) Jackson, Karen (Jim) Raseman, and Carolyn (Steven) Wagner, her grandchildren, Kent, Peter, George, Evelyn, Miriam, Henry, Vivian, Theodore, Oliver, and Elliot Jackson and Ethan, Alex, and Liam Raseman. Kaye is also survived by her twin sister, Faye (Gary) Heintzelman.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her older brother and sister.

The family will receive friends fro 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 2, at Northbridge Church. Her celebration of life will follow the visitation with Pastor Ray Brandon officiating.

Kaye was a selfless woman. Even in her passing, she is still giving to others by donating her body for scientific research.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Wings of Hope Hospice (Allegan) and the Lili Ramos Scholarship Fund at Northbridge Church.
