WHS students qualify for Michigan Honors Choir

Wayland High School Choir member Markie Mark Musgrave III had an amazing memorable Saturday performing with the State Regional Honors Choir along with nine of his fellow classmates. Musgrave, a tenor, qualified for the State Honors Choir for a performance at DeVos Hall in Grand Rapids in late January.

The ten Wayland High School students accepted into the Regional Honors Choir singers were Stephen Harnish, Mark Musgrave lll, Aiden Ketchapaw, Christian Chlebana, Ovelia Taylor, Rylee Brown, Destinee Buckner, Nikkolette Harrison, Ludivine Michaud and Kaprya Pureifoy (pictured in cover photo).

(Photo at left) Soprano Ludivine Michaud (right) also was selected to the State Honors Choir. She is a foreign exchange student at Wayland.
