Cow-related crash reroutes traffic off Shelbyville exit

Both northbound and southbound lanes were open Wednesday morning after a sizable traffic crash occurred Tuesday night near the Shebyville exit on U.S.-131. Two vehicles and an overturned semi-truck carrying a large number of cows were involved. The southbound Lanes of US 131 were closed at the Shelbyville exit and traffic had to be diverted at the Shelbyville exit and go east to 10th Street or downtown Shelbyville and take a right to head south on 10th Street to Martin tobtake a right to get back on US 131 southbound freeway south bound.
