The Hopkins, Martin and Wayland school districts announced Wednesday evening that they will be closed Thursday, Dec. 5, because of inclement weather. A strong winter storm moved through the area Wednesday evening, startling many residents with very loud snow thunder. The Allegan Area Educational Services Agency (AAESA) also announced it will be closed Thursday.
