Jonathan Eugene Garcia, 34 of VanBuren County, a supervisor with the Allegan Area Education Services Agency, has been arrested and charged with criminal sexual conduct.

Detectives with the Allegan County Sheriff’s Office said an investigation into allegations of inappropriate contact between the supervisor and AAESA staff members began Monday after the superintendent’s office became aware of the allegations and notified law enforcement.

Garcia was arrested as a result of the investigation and was arraigned Wednesday in 57th District Court in Allegan on several charges of criminal sexual conduct involving two separate victims.

The allegations and investigation has determined that victims are adult staff members and that there is no indication that there has been any misconduct involving any students. Authorities indicated the first allegation occurred at Brandon Elementary School in Martin.
