Alice Boyce to be buried in Martin ceremony

Alice Marie Boyce, 89, of Allegan, died Sunday,Aug. 10.

She was born on Jan. 4, 1936, in Grand Rapids. Alice was married John A. Boyce, for 70 years-a lifelong partnership built on devotion, laughter, and shared adventures.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Kathleen and Paul Mundo; grandchildren, Isabella and Jonah Mundo; and daughter-in-law, Denice Boyce.

She was preceded in death by her son, Timothy Boyce.

A talented painter, Alice found joy in capturing beauty on any canvas she could find, be it a piece of wood, canoe paddle, or anything she could make a treasure out of. She was deeply devoted to her family, cherishing time spent together, especially on family vacations to Nipigon, Ontario, where fishing trips were a treasured tradition.

There will be a visitation from 11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 14, at Gorden Funeral Residence, 528 Trowbridge St. in Allegan, followed by a graveside ceremony in Martin.

The family requests that memorial contributions be made to Centrica Care Navigators 7100 Stadium Drive, Kalamazoo,49009, in Alice’s honor.
