Myrene Koch, Allegan County Prosecuting Attorney since 2018, has been elected by her peers to be on the Board of Directors of the Prosecuting Attorneys Association of Michigan (PAAM).

PAAM is comprised of a 14-member Board of Directors and the Attorney General who represent Michigan’s 83 county prosecuting attorney offices. She will serve a one-year term through August 2020.

Prior to being appointed as the Allegan County Prosecuting Attorney, Koch had been an assistant prosecuting attorney for more than 17 years, serving as chief assistant prosecutor for two years.

“Over the course of my career, I was fortunate to receive  training, support, and guidance from the Prosecuting Attorneys Association,” said Koch.  “I look forward to giving back to the organization while representing the citizens of Allegan County and all of the prosecutors around the state.”

The Prosecuting Attorneys Association of Michigan was established in 1928.  The primary purposes of the association are to promote equal justice in enforcing the state’s criminal laws and continuing the education of prosecuting attorneys and other law enforcement officials.
