After more than a month of having only six deaths due to the Coronavirus, Allegan County Tuesday is reporting a seventh fatality since the crisis began last winter.

The Allegan County Health Department said 277 cases of the virus have been identified and 252 have been confirmed as recovered.

Nearly 8,000 tests for the COVID-19 virus have been performed.

The Health Department also noted that free drive-through testing will be offered from 9 a.m. to noon at Wayland High School on Thursday, July 16.
