The Allegan main campus for the Hillside Learning and Behavior Center went into lockdown Friday afternoon after reports of a trespasser on campus.

Public Information Coordinator Tom Scheidel said, “The school followed procedure by going into lockdown and notifying the police. Police arrived on the scene in minutes and removed the trespasser.”

The lockdown was then canceled. No injuries or damage were reported.

Serving eight local AAESA school districts, the Hillside school offers programs for students with significant disabilities in the areas of physical needs, cognitive/learning needs, sensory/communication needs and behavioral needs.
