The varsity boys’ basketball seasons for for the three high schools in Northeast Allegan County have come to an end.
Both Martin and Hopkins lost their district semifinal contests Wednesday night. Hopkins was on the short end of a 73-32 verdict against Holland Christian. The Vikings’ campaign ended with an overall record of 4-20.
Meanwhile, Martin dropped a 65-50 decision to Lawrence, leaving its final record at 6-18.
Both teams won their district openers on Monday, Hopkins over Allegan and Martin over Covert. Wayland lost its opener Monday evening to Hamilton, winding up with a final record of 8-15.
