Reports and photos of “tanks” facing protesters in Shanghai China hit the media for a short time on Nov. 30, but it did not fit the media’s narrative of China. Up and running for a few hours before people actually looked at the photos used in the story, the vehicles in the photos were not tanks but light armored personnel carriers, and they were not in Shanghai, but other Chinese cities.
Quite honestly, I am not a bit surprised the media dropped the stories. The truth normally will not get in the way of a politically correct story, until we realize that the Chinese are making the biggest donors to the Democratic National Committee rich. The tech billionaires make their money in trading with and manufacturing in China. Able to pollute to their black hearts’ content in China with no blowback from the American environmental movement, China is too important to the bottom line of the American corporate/ liberal/progressive/socialist establishment, and their willing accomplices in the media to disrespect for long.
Thousands of Chinese, men, women, and children are dying every day of lung cancer and other respiratory diseases. The rate is almost twice that of the world average and is 50% higher in industrial cities. To be fair, Chinese men and women use tobacco products at a higher rate than in some nations, but the numbers and the American Cancer Society point to pollution as a major cause.
Our President recently announced more than 55 billion dollars for a three-year “investment” in African organizations/governments with emphasis on replacing coal fired power plants, per a Dec. 14 post on Whitehouse.gov. African pollution is an environmental tragedy, but Indian and Chinese coal fired power plants (more than 7,000 of them) are not? It makes no sense, but we can’t question it, too much money is at stake for the socialist movement.
The American environmental movement is turning a blind eye to massive pollution in China; the money is just too good for them to kill the “Golden Goose.” The circular system of corporations polluting massively in China, then giving a portion to environmental and other progressive/socialist groups is just too lucrative for the Democrats to kill off.
The media is against Twitter, but supports TikTok, a Chinese media site that tracks the American individual data; to not would be intelligence malpractice as the Chinese government controls the majority of Tik Tok.
The Chinese government has flourished once it adopted limited capitalism some 35 years ago. The government owns the majority interest in most large companies, thus they control them and use them.
Modernizing the Chinese economy is based on importing food and shifting from agriculture to heavy industry. The norm for agriculture in most of Asia is small plots of ground cultivated by hand or with “mechanical oxen,” machines somewhat like a large rototiller. The government of China relies on massive imports of grain from other nations; switching from agriculture to heavy industry has made the pollution deadly for the average person but it has enriched the Chinese government. It has also made the west coast tech billionaires even richer and the leftist environmental and political groups richer as well.
People smoking tobacco producing “second smoke” inside a home or vehicle was/is grounds for a child abuse investigation; will the carcinogen that is cannabis be treated in the same manner? Probably not for a generation, when the carcinogen will surprisingly be discovered by the media. Cannabis is currently politically correct, tobacco is not; both will kill you, but we see no government programs to reduce cannabis use as we did and do with tobacco, just the opposite.
Please keep telling yourself, men can get pregnant, no biological difference exists between men and women, if you want a girl, it is fine to change the gender of your male child to a girl or vice versa using surgery and powerful drugs, not only fine but politically correct. What will history say about the truly dumb “undeniable truths” we are telling ourselves are facts?
Seven years to the end of all life on earth, it is settled science, you can not deny it.
My opinion.
Sir,
Don’t say anything bad about the lovely chicoms, you might get blacklisted. My opinion, my choice.
Mr. David,
Sir,
True, thanks for the comment.
