A short series of questions see if you identify as a properly educated and knowledgeable socialist/progressive who believes the “undeniable truths” of the hard core socialist movement.

Stand up and be counted if you believe there is no biological difference between a man and a woman.

Stand up and be counted if you believe a child of 13 should be able to have their genitals or breasts removed without parental consent if the School District and your 13-year-old think it is a good idea.

Stand up and be counted if you believe a school district should decide if your minor daughter (or son) receives an abortion without your knowledge.

Stand up and be counted if you believe all life on earth will be dead by 2025, 2030 or even 2050, and that it is all the fault of the United States of America.

Stand up and be counted if you believe anyone (74,000,000) who voted for President Donald Trump, a terrorist.

Stand up and be counted if you believe MAGA Republicans are members of the National Socialist German Workers Party, Nazis.

Stand up and be counted if you believe the greatest threat to our democracy is climate change.

Stand up and be counted if you believe President Joe Biden is not impaired by his age and past brain surgery.

Stand up and be counted if you believe American nationalism and love of country are indeed white nationalism, white superiority and racism.

Stand up and be counted if you believe men can give birth.

Stand up and be counted if you believe the United States needs an office of misinformation, controlled by the government, to fight “hate speech” and “incorrect information,” and you believe it is not against the First Amendment.

Stand up and be counted if you believe that blocking a Democratic candidate for president of the United States (Mr. Robert Kennedy Jr.) from testifying in front of Congress is not censorship.

Stand up and be counted if you believe the government controlling content on social media is not full-on censorship.

Stand up and be counted if you believe using 2022/2023 data, not 2002/2003 data, to claim that the United States pollutes more than any other nation, and we as a nation are the most responsible for the carbon increase worldwide.

Stand up and be counted if you believe the Washington Post receiving Pulitzer Prizes for the Clinton-paid-for Russian hoax stating President Trump is a Russian agent, is deserved, along with the Robert Hunter Biden laptop being Russian disinformation, and that President Trump colluded with the Russians to steal the election. 

Above are some of the undeniable truths the progressive/socialist movement tells you, that you must believe. Failure to believe is proof positive you are a threat to our very existence and the destroyer of worlds. Failure to believe renders you a terrorist and a Nazi.

The hits keep on coming, and will as long as the media celebrates things that are just not true. The media justifies their strange stand on things by saying they are fighting disinformation and hate speech. Disinformation and hate speech are whatever the progressive/socialist movement wants it to be.

An example is that there is no difference between men and women; deny it and it is hate speech and misinformation. Folks, you can’t make this stuff up.

Do folks truly believe if they wish to a man can give birth? “Come on man, get real”. My opinion.

" Children (minors) are not allowed to drive an automobile, buy a pack of cigarettes, decide to drop out of school, get married or have a beer, because they are not yet mature enough to do such things. And God forbid that an 18 year old boy, have a sexual relationship with a 13 year old girl, without facing a Statutory rape charge. Yet we are believe that they are mature enough to have their bodies mutilated, for perhaps might be a passing fancy, or what is becoming a fad. What more can be said? I do wish to add one more "Stand Up". Stand Up if you believe our Southern Border is secure.

Bob, With respect, where in the heck did you find these "undeniable truths?" Perhaps more importantly, how dare you ascribe them to a nebulous swath of left-leaning society? Each of your "undeniable truth" smacks of the old example of "gotcha" questions, like "Have you stopped beating your wife?" Your "truths" are worded in such a way as to be embarrassing to those at whom you aim them, where it ought to be the other way round. Do you honestly believe that all left-leaning people or those who didn't vote for Trump believe that those who did are terrorists? (We don't) Perhaps your thoughts would be more constructive if you were to talk about each of these items through the eyes of all reasonable people rather than the eyes of those you seem to perceive as your enemies, specifically liberals. Clearly, you have a strong aversion to Progressive Democrats. And you are not averse to painting most liberals as progressives. But just as you would request that liberals not label all conservatives as terrorists, racists, bigots, homophobes, etc., I would ask you to reciprocate the courtesy. While you often present us with informative and thought-provoking columns, this latest verges on incendiary tripe.

Mr. Longstreet. Sir, So are we all dead in six and one half years? Just for you, stand up and be counted if you believe people who disagree with you and do not accept that global warming will kill all life on earth by 2030 should be denied treatment for advanced cancer?

Mr. Longstreet, Sir, In a comment to a column on global warming, global climate change you stated that if I did not believe in the settled/undeniable science of global climate change or global warming, I should refuse to receive care for cancer as I denied science. The science you referred to clearly stated that the world would end in 2030 unless we on planet earth cut greenhouses gases by 5% per year, we have not. Parse it anyway you wish but you said it.

Dennis, it may help to consider army guy's "opinion" column as analogous to a carnival sideshow, with theme and content intended to confound, to shock, to provoke, to divide, and to spread the darkness. Sideshows can be perversely entertaining too, tempting the audience to engage and to see what's next. But those who do usually come away just shaking their heads, and lamenting the time and 2 cents that were wasted.

Ms. Mandaville Thank you for the comment. At no time in this column was the term "liberal" used. You made the leap from progressive/socialist to liberal. I believe a difference exists, especially in traditional liberal thinking. Traditional liberals would never support the government working with social media to censor free speech. Thanks again for the comment.

Mr. Trailer, Liberal hypocrisy has been clearly exposed in the responses to your article: vote for the people who these radical ideas, then deny any responsibility for the words and actions of the people they voted for. Also apparently innocent until proven guilty is a special right for for liberals since nobody has actually been convicted of attempting to overthrow the government. I commend you sir for a thought provoking essay!

Lynn, I must be missing something here. You (and other Liberals) vote for the people that label Trump and/or Conservatives as terrorists and then you say you don't really believe that stuff? Do you vote for representatives that believe differently than yoursel? I get it. Most, if not all Liberals, would never vote for Trump, let alone admit he ever did anything right, as President. Thusly, Liberals vote against him and other Conservatives. In so doing, Liberals accept and endorse the statements and activities of those Liberals (progressive or otherwise) they elected. You must see how I have become confused here. You vote for representatives that speak for you and legislate (or try to) a Liberal platform, but you don't want to take responsibility for their outrageous activities, legislation and/or attacks on many Conservatives that are just everday normal people? No, you don't have to "Stand Up" for everyone of AB's list of progressive ideals. But, you do have to take some responsibility for putting those people in a position to promote, what many believe to be, a radical agenda.
