The much-maligned weatherman and weatherwoman weren’t kidding when they told everybody there was a big winter storm a-comin’ Monday. There were differing prognostications, some suggesting 8 to 12 inches of the while stuff, others 7 to 11 and the most optimistic 6 to 10. Hopkins was supposed to play makeup basketball Monday evening against Kelloggsville, but that one had to be rescheduled for a second time.
