Sometimes Townbroadcast reporter Austin Marsman of Martin is furthering his journalism career with Grand Valley State University’s “West Side Stories.”

Marsman, a 2018 graduate of Martin High School, has been part of the Townbroadcast staff as a photojournalist for about a year and a half, occasionally returning to his home town to do some independent reporting.

He is a freshman at Grand Valley and already is serving on the college’s Student Senate.
