The Colonial Kitchen in downtown Dorr is having a grand reopening celebration this week under the new name of Bell’s Colonial Kitchen. This Friday Sept. 25, there will be folk, country, gospel and bluegrass music provided Luke Lenhart and Friends from 5 to 7 p.m. with Dale Thomas, Tommy Davis and Nelson Wood. The Colonial Kitchen closed in April during the Covid-19 health crisis, but owner Kerry Brower Schaendorf said it was her decision then to begin a new chapter in her life after the eatery was in the hands of the same family over 40 years.
