‘Bounce Party,’ free lunches a hit at Wayland City Park

A “Bounce Party” took place Monday morning and afternoon at the Wayland City Park, as part of the Wayland Union schools’ “Funtastic’ free lunch series this summer. Kids were given a chance to have fun playing on large inflatables. Also featured were free frozen yogurt sundaes, and, of course, a free lunch. The turnout was excellent, Finance Director Bill Melching reported to the Board of Education Monday evening, with more than 300 children and 40 paying adults for lunch and yogurt.
