The annual kickoff celebration for the Wayland Union Schools’ “Summer Funtastic” series will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 8 at Steeby Elementary School.

There will be free lunches for all students and children under age 18 and free ice cream and books are promised as well.

Also included will be large bounce houses, a 24-inch slide and a corn maze.

The “Funtastic” series is held at several locations in the school district during the summer to further enrich the education and nutrition of young people in the Wayland area. For more information, call (269) 792-2181.
