A resident of the city of Wayland has reported that her home was burglarized Saturday morning.
She posted on Facebook, “Sometime between midnight and 5 a.m. this morning, someone stole my son and daughter-in-law’s 2014 silver Ford Escape, a bunch of Ryobi tools and my bright green Trek bicycle! If anyone saw anything between those hours on the corner of West Maple Street and Vine, in Wayland, please let me know!
Someone else on Facebook posted as a followup: “I just saw someone post a bunch of ryobi tools on Marketplace.”
Local police encourage anyone who has helpful information to call the local department or use Silent Observer.
