
The Wayland Area Chamber of Commerce has announced a venue change for the 21st annual Community Business Expo from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 4.
This year’s event will be held at the Wayland Carpenter’s & Millwright’s Training Facility at 500 Reno Drive. It was formerly held at Wayland Middle School.
Chamber Executive Director Denise Behm said the new location provides enhanced accommodations, including expanded vendor space and ample parking, creating a more comfortable and accessible experience for both attendees and exhibitors.
“We’re thrilled to host this year’s Expo at the Carpenter’s & Millwright’s Training Facility,” Behm said.“As the event continues to grow, this new venue allows us to better serve our business community and the public with a more spacious layout and improved logistics.”
Besides exploring a wide variety of area business vendor booths, attendees can enjoy a range of interactive activities and community services, including:
• Chances to win prizes and giveaways at various vendor booths.
• Free children’s vision testing provided by the Lions Club.
• Free children’s ID kits offered by the Masons.
• Meet-and-greet opportunities with local emergency officials
• Live entertainment throughout the day for all ages.
The Community Business Expo has become a hallmark event in Wayland, drawing hundreds of attendees annually for a day of networking, discovery and family-friendly fun.
